The next European Championship will be held in the Czech Republic!

Today was solemnly signed a contract for holding of the next European Championship (2009) which will be held in the Czech Republic. Prior to that CGF (Czech Gymnastic Federation) AER TC has carried out a selection procedure among the Czech cities competing for the venue and as the best was chosen Liberec.

Not only the latest sports palace TIPSPORT Arena but also the traffic- and accommodation- availability perfectly fulfil the sophisticated demands by UEG. On the occasion of 22nd UEG Congress in Prague signed the contract Mr. Dimitrios Dimitropoulos (UEG Chairman) and Mr. Jiří Kubička (CGF Chairman).
