Aerobic Gymnastics

As well as the last year the spectators and fans of aerobic gymnastics not only from city of Zlin will have the opportunity to see some remarkable international competition calling itself for this year 4th KAMIKAZE Czech Aerobic Open 2009. Do you have any clear idea about number of participated countries?
In accordance to preliminary entries we can look forward to seeing approximately 500 competitors in 250 routines in all age categories. Until today we have 10 countries (AUT, AUS, EST, FIN, HUN, MDA, RUS, SVK, UKR and CZE) and some other delegations seriously consider participation. I suppose that our competition is a check of performance level for some national teams before on-coming World series competitions in Bulgaria, France and Mexico on May.
What´s about Czech clubs?
The number of competitors from Czech Republic used to increase each year. In adults categories as well as in age groups categories we can welcome competitors from some national clubs, which were very successful abroad last year and particularly competitors from host city of Zlín (remember for example Monika Geržová in IW AG2) and also competitors from Liberec achieved very good results in some international competitions. The deadline of Nominative Entries is dated 19th of February 2009.

What´s about competitors in particular categories?
Unfortunately we don´t have completed starting order because it still doesn´t occurred dead line of Nominative Entries. But in previous years we could saw on the top of competition some world aerobics stars, for example Margarita Stoyanova and Radoslov Zhivkov in MP from Bulgaria, Kieran Gorman from Australia and Adrien Galo from France in IM. All finals will be also broadcasted via Czech TV Sport Channel this year. I´m convinced that the spectators will be satisfied.

If we are talking about spectators, what do you prepare for them?
Zlin is unique city its own accord with its functionalist architecture (see more about the city on: http://www.mestozlin.cz/en/page/5.welcome-to-zlin/). At the beginning of it is our endeavor to do the best promotion competition. Nowadays we will advertise the competition at TVs, radios and newspapers. I believe that in this way we can at the most promote the competition and sponsors who help us a lot. For participants we manage sight-seeing trip in spa Luhacovice and farewell party. I hope this competition is going to be the mixture of sport and social event and I would like to invite all fans to attend Novesta sport's hall during 19th till 22nd of March to support Czech talents and to create splendid atmosphere for competitors.
